Another G--Great Friend

This is such a beautiful stamp set! And it's so easy to use. This is another sketch from splitcoast. I used the designer prints paper pack that was a level one hostess gift. The colors used are basic gray, pretty in pink and regal rose. I didn't use any regal rose ink because it seemed too dark so I used pretty in pink on the middle butterfly, then I "huffed" and stamped the light pink butterfly. For a little bling, I added the half back pearls from the pretties kit.

Garden Whimsy

Okay I skipped D and E because I had used those sets recently (Enjoy every moment and Define your life). That brings us to G, Garden Whimsy. The butterfly is stamped on the whisper white square. I also stamped it on a scrap of whisper white, cut it out and mounted it using a deminsional.

Colors Combo: Bashful blue, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede

(the new colors are really growing on me. I love the soft suede)

Suede Baroque

this is a card that started out with a sketch then turned into something totally different. It's hard to see but the bashful blue cardstock is embossed using the bigshot texturz plate. This is such and easy way to add beautiful elegance to any card.

As I've said in a previous post, I've been in a bit of a stamping rut so I've been using old SCS sketches and suggested in color combos from Stampin' Up!. Well I've also decided I need to use ALL my stamps. I'm not sure I've used the stamp set in the last year. I usually focus so much on the newest stamps. So I started with the first current set on my shelf. Because I organize my stamps alphabetically "Baroque Motifs" was the first one.

Stamp set: Baroque Motifs

Paper: Bashful blue, pretty in pink, Whisper white

Ink: same as paper plus soft suede and so saffron

Accessories: Soft suede polka dot ribbon, corner rounder

This is probably my favorite of the 4 lots of bots cards I made. I really love the clear button with the circle punches behind it.

By the way today is my hubby's birthday. . .Happy Birthday, Honey!

Lots of Bots tag sketch

So this is one where I was tring to make the stamp set fit the sketch or vice versa.

I think I should have made the tags a little skinnier so you could see more of the background. Or I coudl have used a solid strip of red, maybe I'll remake this card and see what you think.
