Scrapbooking Weekend Retreat

As many of you know I do not classify myself as a scrapbooker. I am more of a cardmaker, however I do enjoy documenting the story of my life for my kids. I make a family album for the year. Just like many of my other scrapbook friends, I find that I'm always behind. This past weekend I was able to go to a weekend long scrapbooking retreat. 48 hours of scrapbooking...my goal was to complete 2008. 62 12 x 12 pages later...I accomplished my goal.

Below is one of my favorite pages.

It's SALE-A-BRATION time

turning a scrapbook into a video...

This is a scrapbook I made of our trip to Boston to visit friends a couple years ago. Not only can you print it out into a traditional scrapbook you can easily convert it into a video. Just think of the possibilities....

I have had a lot of fun with My Digital Sudio but I'm still learning so here are a couple things I learned while making this album.

If you are planning on printing the album find out what the minimum number of pages are so that you don't pay for blank pages. I'm currently reworking this album because I would have had 9 blank pages.
Have fun with resizing...it is an incredible feeling to not be limited by the size of the punches.

5 year anniversary party!

5 years!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it. Yesterday in the mail I received my 5 year pin from Stampin' UP! I became a demonstrator during Sale-a-Bration 5 years ago. Time sure flies when you are having fun.

So to celebrate I'm going to have a party!
