How cute is this monkey??

Here is a card using lots of new stuff. To make the monkey I stamped him using chocolate chip ink on whisper white cardstock, then I stamped him again onto so saffron dsp. I cut out the body of the monkey from the dsp and adhered it to the whisper white cardstock using liquid glue. Then I colored the rest of the monkey in with markers. This techniques is called Paper Piecing. I think it works really well with the monkey. I used the scalloped edge punch on the so saffron dsp on the edge. The chocolate ribbon is a scrap that was lying on my table, it wasn't long enough to tie around the chocolate cardstock so I just tied it into a knot and used a glue dot to put it where I wanted it.
