Curry, oh how I love you!

It's such a happy color! I used the circle circus stamp set and the tiny wishes stamp set (that fit perfectly in the new modern label punch) and of course beautiful polka dot curry ribbon. Oh I was so absorbed with the curry I almost forgot that I added a little texture to the bottom of the card using the big shot texturz. I used the little dots to mimic the dots in the ribbon.

Absolutely Fabulous, one of my favs!

I'll be so sad to see this set go. It is the perfect sentiment set. Make sure you get it now before it's gone!
This is a flower pot card, you've probably already seen it on other blogs or at splitcoaststampers but this was the first one I've made. It was a lot of fun to make. I used the die cut blooms and it made it very simple. The only problem I had was I wanted to add more flowers but then it wouldn't have fit into an envelope.

Sorry I haven't posted!

Sorry I haven't posted. As many of you know my Dad is fighting lung cancer. He had a rough week so that meant I had a busy week. He's doing a little better so that means I have a bit of time to catch up on my Stampin' stuff.

Here's a couple of reminders:

Tuesday is the last day you can order the Big Bold Birthday card kit or the Thoughts and Prayers card kit. For more info check the individual posts.

Tuesday is also the last day to order stamp set from the Last Chance list.

Wednesday July 1st is the first day of the new catalog. Come celebrate at my new catty party, my house at 6:30. Come browse the catalog, have a glass of wine and make a project or two. Used retired stamp set will be on sale, there will be specials on new catalog products and some free prizes! Please let me know by MONDAY if you are planning to attend.
Okay now a little about this very cute card. I used the new stamp set called circle circus, which is a very fun and easy set. Instead of punching out the images with a circle punch I used the square punch and the square scalloped punch. I'm really loving the curry polka dot ribbon! See more fun projects on Wednesday!

Retiring Stamp sets I love!

Here are two stamp set that are on the Last chance list that I just love! I will really miss being able to demonstrate them. As many of you know I sell a lot of my retired stamp sets at my New Catalog party (which will be on July 1st at 6:30). But there are always a few that I love and won't sell (these two sets are on that list). So if you love them as much as I do buy them now! This set is Big Bold Birthday. Because the images are solid the cards come together really fast. My kids love to use this stamp set for birthday cards! Gasp! Yes both my 7 year old and 9 year old stamp with me using current products. I have a hard time letting them use too much of my designer paper and ribbon.

The Big Bold Birthday Card kit is still available for purchase until June 30th. To see more info check out this post.

I love the Wild about you stamp set!! This was a card we made for a Valentine's day class. But this set works for birthdays, thinking of you almost anything! I use it for both kids and adults.

If you haven't had a chance to see the Last Chance List you can see it here.
I will be having a Retirement Stamp-a-Stack on Wednesday June 24th at 6:30, cost is $15 and we will use some some of my retiring stamp sets for the projects. Please RSVP by Sunday June 21st.

Oh and one more thing, I'm offering a special good until June 24th at 9pm:
Buy One Stamp set from the Last Chance list and get the second 40% off!
You must place this order thru me, not my website so I can give you the discount.

Forest Friends

I know everyone is excited to see the new stuff, but let's not neglect the great stamp sets in mini catalog we have right now or the beautiful in colors like pacific point and kiwi kiss! Here are two cards using the set Forest Friends from the current mini. These cards were made by one of my great swappin' sisters Kendra!

Have you heard about the new markers?

That's right! Stampin' Up! listened and gave us In Color markers! Woo Hoo!! Now you guys know how much I love markers. Before I had all the ink pads I had all the markers because it's a cost effective way to get all the colors. I think the same is true for the in colors. I know some of you don't want to invest in stamp pads for colors that aren't going to have coordinating products for a long time. Markers are a less expensive way to get these great colors.

What do you think if this polka dot ribbon? Beautiful isn't it! Again Stampin' Up! listened to their customers and gave us polka dot ribbon in all 6 of the in colors (I just got crushed curry and soft suede my too favorites due to budget restraints, but I'll get them all eventually).
