You've seen this layout before...
I just changed the colors and added the paper buttons. I love how simple this is. It could be any occasion, I'm planning on using this as an Easter card.
I will be on vacation all next week but I do have some posts schedule so keep checking back in. To celebrate I'm giving a way a free card kit to everyone that places an online order from now until March 7th. You have your choice between the Feb card kit seen here or the March Card kit which will be introduced next week. Just email me your choice.

my favorite box
This is my favorite box to do, it's very simple and can be made any size you would like. This box is 3 x 4 inches.
1. cut cardstock 2 inches larger than you want the box to be. For this project I cut it 5 x 6 inches.
2. score 1 inch on all sides, snip corners and fold up. I use glue dots or sticky strip to adhere the box together.
3. for the band around the box, cut the width the same width as your box, for this box I cut it 4inches. the length should be enough to go around the box plus 2in, for this box I cut the length at 10in.
4. score at 2inches, then 3 1/8 inches, then 6 1/8, then 7 1/4. fold the score lines wrap around the box and adhere band to itself, then the box can slide out.
5. decorate!
I love to do this box for a set of cards and envelopes, I made several for Christmas gifts.

Luscious Card kit
Luscious, that's the word I think of when I look at this set of cards using the sweet pea designer paper, sweet pea felt flowers and the satin ribbon! Wow!
This is the card kit for February. You can get everything to make 2 of each of these cards (8 total). All you will need is adhesive (I recommend glue dots for the felt flowers) chocolate chip ink and a sentiment stamp set. I used "Well scripted" from the mini catalog but you could easily use Sincere Salutations or the sentiment set available for Sale-a-Bration.
Cost of the kit is $15 plus shipping if needed. Let me know by feb 15th if you would like this kit.
Caleb and Emma's Valentines
Since my kids were in preschool we have enjoyed making valentines for their friends and classmates. Sometimes the kids just drew a picture and signed their name, but now all valentines need to include candy :). My kids are so different and it shows even in the valentines that they chose for their class.
Emma is all about presentation! She made 22 Hershey kiss roses. After she saw one I made for a class she begged for that to be her valentine. Then she added a simple ribbon (okay I tied the ribbon) and tag with to and from. There was no note, but a lot of wow factor.
Caleb had not made his valentines until yesterday evening. When we got home from school I had a much anticipated box from Stampin' UP! on my porch and in it was the new milk carton die. Caleb saw it and fell in love. He didn't decorate the milk carton, he just wrote the student names on the outside. I said don't you want to stamp it, maybe use a wheel. Nope the boxes are cool enough. However inside is a Hershey kiss and an individual note to each of his classmates that says something nice about them, my favorite "I like how clean your desk is."
I love doing valentines with my kids, I hope it's one of their fond memories as they grow older :)

SWAPS
This week I'm going to show you some of the great swaps from my fellow demonstrators. Sometimes we are lucky enough to get together has a large group to do a shoebox swap but this time that wasn't able to happen. So we did a digital swap (sometimes I really do love technology).
These were all made by Christy Fulk check out her blog here
